Currently in the midst of a 5 year unbeaten streak Cyborg has continued to prove herself as a Combat Sport legend by venturing into the sport of Professional Boxing with two consecutive victories.
Kayla Harrison is an American Judo Star who despite two losses to Ronda Rousey in Judo went on to accomplish two gold medals in the Olympics competing at 171 pounds. Following her Judo career Kayla transitioned into MMA going 14-0 against mostly regional talent brought into the PFL to build a lightweight 155lbs division.
While Kayla racked up an incredible 14 fight streak in only 3 years of competition her last fight showed she Is still primarily a grappler with developing strikes. Despite beating Larissa Pacheco by decision twice in 2019 the Brazilian UFC veteran was able to showcase improved takedown defense during the trilogy fight 3 years later and won a convincing victory over Kayla Harrison to capture the 2022 PFL Lightweight Tournament Championship and the Million Dollar tournament prize.
Despite the fact that Kayla lost her last fight, and has been out of the cage since November of 2022 there still seems to be a lot of interest in a showcase between Cyborg and the American Judo Star.
